A hometown girl, Megan grew up in Arnolds Park spending her summer days with friends riding bikes to the lake, swimming off the pier at the amusement park, and hanging out at the Sugar Shack in the Emporium. Growing up a 'Boji girl, the Lakes will always have a special place in her heart.

Megan graduated from Okoboji Community Schools in 2000, then from Buena Vista University in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship. She, like many Parks Marina staff, began her career here with a summer position bartending for 4 summers. She is quick to say that "F-U-N!" is the reason she enjoys working in the boating industry. "We have so much to offer for people of all ages. I like seeing people's faces light up when they walk down the dock and board their new boat. It warms my heart to know that they will get to enjoy time with their family, and create memories together that will last a lifetime."

Megan and husband John just recently expanded her family with their son, Kipton, arriving on December 5th, 2014. In her spare time, Megan enjoys golfing, traveling, and of course spending time with her family and friends on the waters of Lake Okoboji. She is anxious to start creating boating memories with her son and having him grow to love Okoboji just as much as she does.
