Parks Marina closes in on $11,000 donated to local charities!

Parks Marina, Inc. and The Barefoot Bar are pleased to announce that University of Okoboji Winter Games 2020 competitions held at Parks Marina properties raised a total of $10,740 for local charities. We kicked off the donations with the 8th Annual ‘Battle of the Bartenders’ fundraising event on January 23rd bringing in $9,600.
Included in the grand total raised is the Human Dog Sled Races with a match from Doll Distributing in Spencer, IA, Ice Auger Races and the Keg Toss held at The Gardens.
Brand new fundraising event to our Marina District was a Winter Dog Show, held at the OBW Fish Shack. 
“All the money raised went to local charities and great causes, we feel so humbled to create the environment for these events.” said Debbie Parks – Marketing Director for Parks Marina.
